I was born and raised in Lithuania. As a child, I studied at an art school, and later I graduated in Audiovisual Art from Šiauliai University. Drawing has been with me since early childhood – my mother used to tell how I would eat snow just to get sick and be able to draw peacefully at home. I loved drawing people, animals, and abstractions, even though I didn’t see art as part of my future back then.

The inner world on canvas
About me
After creating a family and raising children, I stopped drawing for a long time. I didn’t feel I had the internal resources for it. But after a very long break, I felt an irrepressible desire to create again. As fate would have it, dry pastel fell into my hands. This technique is not easy, but once mastered, it allows for both very realistic and abstract works. My first drawing was a portrait of a woman, then came animals and landscapes. I wanted to test the possibilities of pastel and find the direction that resonated most with me.
In the end, I felt most drawn to the most complex genre – portraits. When I draw a person, it’s like I dive into their inner world; I begin to feel their mood and emotional state captured in the photo. Later, I became acquainted with oil paints, which opened up even more creative possibilities. Painting on canvas became another form of expression and a deep passion. The dimensions of my paintings and portraits became limitless.

At this stage, my creative work revolves around the inner world, sensuality, and versatility of a woman. It’s an endless source of emotion. Since I am a woman, each of my paintings reflects my own state and energy in that moment. I can no longer imagine myself without daily contact with paint, canvas, or paper. Creativity is the foundation of who I am and how I live. I believe that nothing in life happens by chance. The people I’ve met, the life experiences I’ve had, the challenges I’ve overcome, and the shifts in how I see the world — all of it brought me back to myself.
